The Supakit cat harness was designed from the ground up with the unique needs of cats in mind.
When we first began, we, like many in our community, noticed that most cat harnesses were adapted from dog or puppy harnesses. Some had been made smaller and others slightly modified, but few truly catered to a cat’s unique needs, body shape and style of movement.
So we worked closely with our community to understand what cats really need in a harness. We gathered every piece of feedback, big and small, about the harnesses they were already using. Then we set about creating the Supakit harness’ distinctive design.

When considering how a harness should support a cat, we found inspiration in an unexpected place. In zoos and veterinary settings, large four-legged animals are often moved using sling hoists that cradle their bodies without placing pressure on their neck or limbs. That idea shaped our harness design.
The Supakit harness cradles your cat around their upper body, spreading any pressure over a wide area so they never feel tugging in one place. It places no pressure on the neck, making it especially suitable for asthmatic cats, and leaves their legs completely free for jumping, climbing and exploring.

2. Appeals to your cat’s senses for easy acceptance
We know how important a cat’s sense of smell, hearing and touch is when introducing something new. That’s why we use natural materials such as soft cork and leather. They have a gentle, natural scent, make no rustling noises and feel beautifully soft to wear.

Cats are incredibly sensitive to anything brushing against their fur. The Supakit harness is designed to move with your cat, sitting like a second skin so they can forget they are wearing it.
